That’s actually very cool and trippy. The shortness (demo/test I know) might lend itself to making the conspiracy rounds... especially with that hat! Probably could be beneficial if it does.vurt wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 9:03 pmcuriouser and curiouser...Unaspected wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 10:47 pm
Maybe the best way to approach this is to consider them as items of curiosity and present them as such. Then there is no need for narrative - the viewer take away whatever part of their own psyche you trigger with your offerings.

ok!
now we have two cameras, plus an endoscope
before, i had it auto transitioning between the camera and the endoscope...
today, ive installed the second camera, set up the auto transition...
nothing!!! will have to have a look tomorrow, getting late.
but after my live stream test, the other day, as soon as i get this sorted with auto, i may do a proper run through
start from "init" then see where we go

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

You're a Telecaster now, but that doesn't sound anything like country music!

I asked a question about options for Ableton users in another thread, but maybe this is the only one that counts....

I need to make some visuals for a gig of sorts and I'm trying to figure out the options for someone like me who is using Live.
There are things like Resolume which looks simple to pick up, but it's pretty pricey.
Then there are the three cheaper M4L packages that integrate into Live - Videosync, Ebosuite and Zwobot (the cheapest option). I like the idea of the integration, but there might be hidden technical issues that aren't obvious from watching tutorials.
I like the idea of the visuals responding to the music, but I could just try to throw some footage into DaVinci Resolve and just have it play out.
Key issues for me are reliability and ease of use, since I've got about a month and quite a lot to do.
