It is also like a mini DAW... it can do clip launching on its 4 tracks...
I'm very much meh about that particular feature. Certainly not worth 3k.

I appreciate that we're going back to the '80s, but not with the pricing!

Post

1980s tech, 2021s prices
<List your stupid gear here>

Post

Well no, 2021s tech too.

It is cheaper now in terms of inflation adjusted dollars

Post

definitively, but in exchange, it's lacking a floppy disk drive
The GAS is always greener on the other side!

Check out the Korg

looks cool but few controls on the panel for the price they are charging. I want hardware to be more immediate.

Is that supposed to counter the fact it is overpriced for what it is in 2021?

Post

I don't think it's overpriced. Nothing else sounds like it. Fight me! :D

No, I was confirming that you are right and that we are not going back to the 80's with pricing as it would be more expensive.

There is the main point for me... if it has some uniqueness, then it is enticing regardless of price.

The Waldorf Quantum just went up $500 in price in the US. What I've heard is lots of prices are or will be going up. The M already reflects that.

Oh. My initial statement was asking not to go back to 1980s pricing. Because tech was expensive back then. Old is new it seems.
