If you're experiencing high CPU, it's likely that you're using a very high Rate and spawning a ton of grains. There's a global option to set the maximum number of grains for your computer. By default, it's 1000. You can lower it a lot without hearing an impact in *most* (but not all) patches. Start at 500 and see if that improves it.

Having watched this and the Venus Theory video, I'd definitely consider this if some kind soul could pm me a voucher (getting close to payday but not quite soon enough).

I was a little worried when I got upgraded to the $50 voucher since it has the higher minimum and it seems most sales wouldn't meet it, but thankfully this came at just the right time to nab it and the new Suhr amp model for $15 each with my voucher. I'm in love with granular processing, it's just so cool. Looking forward to playing with this a lot today!

I was on the fence (I don't think those RD videos really do it justice) but then picked it up for that amount last time it was offered. Yeah, like it a lot, nice gui and controls that just seem to do what you need, well tuned.
