When recording midi cc messages in either arrange or session view Ableton seems to only record changes then samples a continual value for the last received change. The problem with this is that upon looping back to the start point it does not continue sampling last received value. I can’t imagine that this is intentional as Ableton cannot expect a user to have a pot moving at precisely the correct position at every loop point. I remember, perhaps, that Push had a continual output while yr hand is on the know, but what is the solution for any other controller.

It seems that in arrange view, by turning off the loop setting for the individual clip, Ableton will stack clips of the overall selected length while continuing to sample from last CC value received.
