It's literally a PC Build, i'll buy all the components, I'll bring it to the workshop, I just want it put together and tested with a pre-installed Windows 10, thermals checked, thats it.

And i'll collect it when its done.

What would you think was a reasonable price, there's no software installation as I will be using the existing SSD's, just need it put together and thermals tested.

I would do it myself, but I am in temp accomodation and there is literally no place to do it other than on the floor, which isn't an option.

Well in UK , 2 companies i've spoken with both want around 250 bucks, (120 quid) just to build it and test it. There is no OS installation needed, as the SSD in my current system will be used.

120 quid seems ridiculously steep.

Hit the listings, there's guys doing that for much less, maybe even more knowledgeable than half of those employed in some fancy schmancy place.

I would build a Ryzen 5000 PC, they are faster and have better thermals than Intel.

Not the same performance, but you can avoid the cost of a GPU by using a CPU with built-in GPU.

Half that would seem fair if you're installing the os yourself. The best way is to merely clone the drive of a laptop because often they have windows 10 oem installs which are gems.

Easy enough to get a new key. I got on on hrk for like 4 dollars lol. But now they've been asking for id. I'll buy somehwere else. Also, eneba's being picky and nulling transactions for whatever reason.

These fans btw are the most powerful I've used. Rosewill also sells this same fan with their own sticker on it.

Even though these are slim and low profile they are crazy powerful. The only warning I'd add is that the axis is a bit tipsy turvy and it will rub if screwed up against a fan guard. I'd use some fireproof nylon washers for spacers if that were the case. You won't regret these fans for sheer power.

I ended up doing it myself, saved £120.

System is running sweet as a nut , and I am very happy.

I just wish that they told you in the manuals MOTHERBOARDS DONT BEEP ANYMORE. lol Well not by default. I thought it wasn't going to POST until I connected a monitor lol

5900X, 64gb RAM, 2tb M.2 NVMe , I think i'm future proofed for a while.

-Make sure the motherboard BIOS is updated
-Make sure to install the latest AMD chipset driver
-Make sure to install the latest LAN driver, if it is Intel download from Intel
and if it is Realtek download from Realtek
-Make sure to do some tweaks

Thanks, all that is done apart from the tweaks. Although Windows 10 is tweaked as much as I can do it. I aint messing with the BIOS yet lol I am not familiar with it.

Thanks, I forgot what a rush it is when you do this, and get it working. Just need to get all my VST licenses working and im back in business.
