I'm really trying to find a VST or Max device that will allow me to do this magic again:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBhMytf921I
I do own jBridge so do have the option of running this as a bridged VST, but I'd rather have something natively 64bit rather than bridged for stability reasons where possible. Is there anything out there that is able to do everything that wonderful thing could (free or paid ?)
Interestingly when searching around I found this sourceforge page that mentions a 64bit port a year ago, though nothing seems to have come of it: https://sourceforge.net/projects/destroyfx/

https://www.soundradix.com/products/32-lives/
i have it and it DFX's stuff seems fine
i think the 32 bit Lives demo lets u convert one or 2 plugins to 64bit for free

If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.
If not Make a Mac version of your Plugins Please.

one could argue that some Wrapped plugins are more stable than a native 64 bit. if it works it works.mcbpete wrote:I'm really trying to find a VST or Max device that will allow me to do this magic again:

Maybe Izotope's "stutter edit" can do similar to DFX's buffer override

Thanks for all the suggestions. Totally forgot purmut8 does something similar - thats the problem with 'another plugin syndrome' you forget what's possible with stuff you already own!
So might just stick with bridging and purmut8-ing for the time being and cross my fingers something finally comes of this - https://sourceforge.net/projects/destroyfx/
I use jBridge for my 32-bit plugins which is quite a bit cheaper than 32bit lives - https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/realmarco wrote:dang didnt know thats its not available on PC..thats Sucks

Thanks - just managed to get something similar out of it. Is always quite tricky to get predicted noises from Glitchmachines' effects but that's part of the joy of thempottering wrote:Since no one mentioned : Glitchmachines's Cryogen.
