Why can't I create new posts?!
Maybe you dont have cookies enabled - or they have been blocked - if ya got IE when you vist the IL forum (maybe the support forum - where you can post) you will see the red no entry (bottom right of the IE window) that indicates you are blocking IL cookies, double click it and allow them - then register again.

I would do all of this after a re-boot

No not that I noticed for my tunes.

damn, the new automation/LFO tool is sweet, though Im finding it a bit eratic in its behaviour. Also you still have to stop and start the sequencer for changes to take affect :x

The only annoying thing I've found so far, is having to switch auto scroll back on everytime I stop playing a track. Even saving a song with auto scroll 'definitely' on, it's off the next time it's loaded. No biggie, just irksome having to remember each time.

Gols replied to this at FL forum. Auto scrolling is switched off by default whenever any editing is done. It's deliberate, but I can't see the point :? The option to use either way would have been better imo.

I just took a look at the auto scroll thing and what I'm finding is that, you don't have to recheck autoscroll each time you press start/stop. What it's doing is, each time you touch a pattern block, auto-scroll turns itself off and that's got to be a bug.

Edit: I just saw Ian B's response above after making my post. I was certain this must be a bug after seeing it in action and I'm really surprised that Gol has said it was planned to be like that. Very strange. This is kind of what I was getting at early in this thread when I said that a when things are implemented in FL, they're sometimes done differently than the way they're done in other sequencers although there's nothing wrong with the way other sequencers handle the same thing. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Hi TLS,
Yep, Gols reasoning goes something like this
autoscrolling now works as in Live (and it's about the only thing I liked in Live). Let's face it: autoscrolling just sucks, because it's annoying when you edit things while your song is playing. So this made it usable: any editing switches autoscrolling off.
Makes little sense to me :? Having the option to keep it on would have been better
