Does anyone know whether there are any
Helios or Datamix (Record Plant studio, Hendrix) console plugins available or planned?
So many SSL, API, Neve, why no Helios ?

Waves: Kramer HLS Channel

Developed in association with legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, the HLS Channel was meticulously modeled on a Helios mixing console just like the one he used in historic sessions at London’s acclaimed Olympic Studios. (In fact, we actually managed to get our hands on the Helios from the Rolling Stones mobile truck, which was used on a slew of classic recordings during the early ‘70s.) In addition to modeling the Helios EQs with their sweet saturation, high-end presence, and fat low-frequency boost, we even modeled the unique behavior, coloration, and drive of the console’s preamps. To top it all off, the HLS Channel features a precision-modeled VU meter that recreates the sensitivity, ballistic behavior, look and feel of the original.

Waves: Eddie Kramer Signature Series

When The Beatles recorded “All You Need Is Love”, the man behind the board was Eddie Kramer.
When Jimi Hendrix recorded “Purple Haze”, the man behind the board was Eddie Kramer.
When Led Zeppelin recorded “Whole Lotta Love”, the man behind the board was Eddie Kramer.
When you’re ready to make some music history of your own, get Eddie Kramer behind the board.

Nembrini Audio: Edstortion 3 Mode Distortion

Like the original acclaimed Eddie Kramer Edstortion Pedal by F-Pedals, the plug-in, features 3 modes of classic distortion based on the legendary work of Eddie Kramer with Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Traffic and so many more.

The Plug-in comes in two different versions, one in the shape and sound of the original pedal and one totally new, in a rack version packed with extra features and a sonic concept to serve primarily music producers and engineers .
With just a few knobs tweaks you will be transported into the classic tones of the Golden Age of Rock .

Edstortion is a phenomenal tool with an attitude to rock that allows you to achieve an incredibly wide spectrum of tones from heavy compressed distortion to very subtle crunch with great dynamic.
Those classic tones will add amazing presence, space, flavor and vibe to any production in any style of music from Rock to Hip-hop and dance!

Nembrini Audio: Phazevibe Bundle 3 Modes Phaser Wha Vibe

The Eddie Kramer Phazevibe pedal by F-Pedals is very unique because is not the clone of anything else.

It has been receiving great ratings by many musicians around the world and it is included in the top list, (along with the Echobandit by F-Pedals) of the “must have pedals” posted on Premier Guitar by sound guru Pete Thorn.

The Eddie Kramer Phazevibe Plug-ins, Pedal and Rack version, are modeled after the original F-Pedal Phazevibe.

Both version feature 3 modes of phaser effects that are selected by a slide switch. In the Rack version there are also 3 different options of waveforms shape for each phaser mode.

Mode 1 - CLASSIC VINTAGE PHASER
The big red speed knob allows the user to range from a classic phaser through a vibrato and even a leslie-ish effect.

Mode 2 - PHASE-WHA
A phaser with a hint of wha-wha when used on low speed that become auto-wha as you increase the speed up to a very unique vibrato.

Mode 3 - PHASE-UNIVIBE
A phaser with a hint of univibe when used on low speed that b

Why do you list all that Kramer endorsed stuff which has absolutely zero to do with console emulations of any kind? That's beyond absurd - the OP didn't even mention Eddie Kramer just once in his post.

If the poster is interested in the sounds of yesteryear (Hendrix for example) then he/she may be interested in other products made with (not just endorsed by) Eddie Kramer.

I am a moron too. The OP asked for Helios or Datamix console plugins. Not sounds of yesteryear in general, not everything related to Hendrix. Only the Kramer HLS Channel is relevant to that.

I seem to remember someone related to PA gave some hints last year that they were looking at possibly doing a Helios channel strip - it might have been the Lindell folk, who have already done Neve and API channel strips for PA., or it might have been brainworx, can't quite remember the context.

But obviously until it happens it's just speculation, and there's all kinda of reasons why these things don't come off sometimes...

Listen, I don't know what your congnitive issues exactly are, but this forum certainly isn't the place to obtain help.

The OP asked for something very specific and you answered with a looooong unspecific list of unrelated stuff - in addition to one short and correct on topic bit. And all I did was to ask you why you did that even though it is in fact NOT at all what the OP asked for nor even related to it in any way (other than the name "Kramer" apparrently triggering some sort of seizure within you) and all you come up with as a reply is calling me a moron? :-o

Acustica Audio has Viridian 2, wich emulates Helios. I have not used this myself, but I have Acustica Cream, and use it a lot, great channel strip.

If they're not then they should be. Most Hendrix recording are notoriously poorly produced. If trying to recreate them I don't think just a Helios EQ/channel strip is the full answer.
