Good AI depends on the right machine learning algorithm and the right training data. I'm curious whether the plugin can deliver. Demo sounds good though.

Post

I'll probably buy this immediately if it comes out at their normal reasonable pricepoint.

Post

Very promising sounds made by Baby Audio - never mind the plugin. Very much looking forward to how they might present more machine-learnt hardware - and hopefully some more experimental FX.

And even though I'm only listening on crappy laptop speakers, that compression sounded really nice.

Post

Nice. And nice design.
For the sake of accuracy, for what it's worth and not to dismiss the forthcoming plugin, i'd like to say that ChowTape i also using AI, in the same way as Taipe.

The AI modelling is a very interesting development in my eyes, and makes me wonder, would it be possible in the future to develop a tool that you import a dry stem and wet stem into, and then the AI can learn the processing happening to the material, and be able to apply it any other sound?

it's a bit different, accentize reverb analyses source audio and reproduces the reverb (or at least it claims to do so)

Wow! This is what I needed... 2 days ago when I had to match VO recorded in a bit 'reverby' studio room with a totally dry VO (same voice actor). Instead, I had to tweak reverb like a madman to get close enough :D
It looks like a total time saver. Thanks :)

TAIP is great. Worth the sale price. Not as gooey as IK but hardly any CPU in comparison. Far better at adding audible character. Does add latency, though, and the flat list preset browser is weak.

IK is IR based, what i wonder how it fares against Softube and u-he which are algo
