It seems Melda is finally catching up on the UI front! Good stuff, Melda!

I'm not too sure I'm ready to call this "catching up".......... :o

Only one of the three Melda plugins I own have the new GUI's and I'm fine with that.....

Yes it seems like some of the GUI designs are still from 2009... or 1999.

I have never used Melda but I respect the free updates for life. That's awesome, much respect.

I can’t wait for a time when we judge the look of software based on how clear and intuitive it is to use it, and not whether it meets a current style.

It’s a fun touch for sure. You can still hit the edit button and dive deep but now we have some sImple GUIs if we just want to dial it in a bit.

Nice work, MeldaProduction! :tu:

I do exactly that and tbh that is why I don’t have many Melda plugins : :D

But I definitely see the new simple GUIs in v15 as an improvement. Haven’t checked whether they affect the two or three Melda plugins I own.

I've been checking them out since public beta. Considering i use melda in edit mode or custom macros 90% of the time, i don't really care for them, and i'm happy that you can also disable them. Since finding "Modern skin v2" i actually enjoy using melda plugins.

But maybe this brings them more sales which is good.

you can only even notice that if you actually mix / work, and you can only really judge and appreciate that if you work on deadlines.
That's when different aspects also come into play, like stability and optimisation. I'd sooner use a plugin with a bit of a different sound if it gets out of the way. It makes more of a difference in the end

I much prefer their old GUI.

The original GUI always put me off , so any change to that really is welcome. So I will be on V15 in the next 5 minutes :)

Have to agree here, good move as that was always the main complaint with Melda plugins. Yet, they also somehow tricked me into liking the original more e.g. 'Modern2' which is really good imho.

I was fine with the classic Melda graphics before and I still am now.
I like using those plugins from the "Edit" page the entire time, in any case.

But it's a welcome addition if it helps the company.

I agree... MELDA's GUI has always been horrible..

A least they are trying now.

Are the load up and re-opening times affected by this update?
Wouldn't be using these new GUIs anyways
