From this level of plugin teasing I was expecting more substance.

Well, we can just put all sorts of replacements for their shapers on our tracks. The benefit is with their MSEG editor and other features and with having it all-in-one for nifty presets.

some overlap with Devious Machines Texture in conjunction with something like Gatekeeper - and I have both - but still looks a worthwhile buy for me as a shaperbox owner for a reasonable price for the reasons dirtgrain mentioned

That is kind of exactly my assumption so far...
CG gui system is pretty cool, and almost perfectly suited for this kind of tool, but they have a challenge going up against Texture. Its ergo af.
That said, if they introduce +/- signal delay, that alone will be worth enough to add to this kind of toolbox.. Texture needs that asap.
