Id like to connect some old speaker wired speakers to my mixer, preferably using 1/4 jacks. Ive looked at speaker wire to Jack adapters but the only ones I can find look really cheap and cumbersome.
Anyone know of a decent set of adapters or another way of doing this?

Are these powered or passive speakers?
If passive, you need an amp firstly.
Cheap ain't nescessarily bad actually. It's just insulated copper.

Thanks for the reply,
That's a good point. I guess it'd just be a case of connecting speaker wire to an amp and then to the mixer via jacks, meaning i wouldn't require anything other than speaker wire?
