In an interview with Toontrack, the singer said they converted the drummers performance to MIDI using SD3s Tracker feature and then triggered Eddie Kramer's Legacy Of Rock SDX for the drums on this track.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
