I noticed this some time ago, too. I don't begrudge him making some money with endorsements, but it seems, even as talented and technically impressive as his playing is, that he isn't putting much effort into some of those advertisements.simmo75 wrote: Sat Jun 05, 2021 4:41 pm Last time I was checking it Jordan Rudess was endorsing everything, it put me off big time..

I was thinking of getting DMG Trackcomp sometime. How does this compare to Trackcomp?

quite different.Spring Goose wrote: Sun Oct 10, 2021 1:32 am I was thinking of getting DMG Trackcomp sometime. How does this compare to Trackcomp?
TrackComp emulates/models exact units. Voosteq is more a modular build your own compressor. Quite versatile also in sound.
TrackComp wants to give quick results with known compressor models and is more clean on the GUI.
I'm not saying Voosteq Material is not quick to set up, but you certainly can tweak more settings and therefore it may take longer to set a sound, but more exploration/experimentation is possible here.
I have and like both, but use TrackComp quite more often.

Has this guy not tried Reddit? It’s tame here comparatively, but obviously some get all bent out of shape when someone doesn’t agree with them and it becomes KVRs fault (not theirs or the person they’re speaking with)

I believe the 'intro price' just always stuck at $29 (never ever went to $149) ?
Doesn't mean it isn't 'a steal' now anyway of course

No, the intro price was $39, that’s what I paid.Hettoblaster wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:49 am I believe the 'intro price' just always stuck at $29 (never ever went to $149) ?

This is now a really good compressor with all the recent additions. Good to see that updates from this dev are quite consistent as well.
MC has some quirks. The AutoGain button is usually quite off the mark. And its the only plugin I know that tends to make drums louder when set to compress without any make-up gain. Turns out the various saturation stages are not gain compensated. But once you know all the quirks its a wonderful compressor with a lovely action.

I've been thinking to grab this one for a while, glad to see a lot of people here are liking it, gives a bit more confidence to pull the trigger. I won't be able to try it 'til next year (OK, just a few more days).

yeah i use it, sometimes as a groove tool, sometimes as a saturator or glue, not always as a 'compressor'.
it's really easy on my CPU.
