Hi!

I have windows 11 x64. Live's version is 11.0.6.

When I play my MIDI keyboard with VSTi instruments I have dropouts. But I see that the MIDI keyboard is connetced and sending its signals correctly to a VSTi. But there's no sound.

I've found that it happens when high velocities are played (ff or fff). So I have to reload VSTi - that's the only way to repair sound from it. But Nexus has different behavior. It just makes itself a lot quiter. And I just should stop playback and play it again (2x on the spacebar).

Any thoughts?

Was it working fine before you upgraded Windows to 11?

Also, I believe current stable version of Live is 11.0.11 (and 11.1.5 beta) so perhaps see if updating it fixes the problem?

I've been working long time on FL, Cubase, S1 on previous Windowses and for some time on Win 11. There was no such a problem. And I've been using Live only on Win 11.
Tnx, I'll try this version

Ok, just checking - you're aware that in Live when you use QWERTY keyboard as MIDI input keys Z/X change octave and C/V change velocity? Perhaps you've reduced velocity and/or got outside of hearable frequency range (for given instrument/patch)? Do MIDI clips play correctly and the issue is only with QWERTY keyboard? That would be weird.

Yes sir, of course I know Z/X and C/V on this keyboard. Actually I play real midi keyboard: M-Audio Oxygen 61 silver (old version). And I cannot use QWERTY one cause it's too uncomfortable for me.

Oh, sorry - for some reason I thought this was with QWERTY keyboard. My bad :dog:

Anyway, have you tried to update Live to most recent version?

Yes! I did it. I still haven't got this problem since updating. Thank you! May be that was the real 'cure' for my problem :)
But anyway I'll write here if the problem would appear again

Im so sorry! This time I just forgot to press the red arm/record button. This was the reason! My bad! I'm just a newby in Ableton Live DAW. But I wasted 45 minutes to understand this :D
