Just bought the plus versions and am scrolling through the presets that came with it - worth 25$ for sure, thats what I can say for nowkidnay wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 2:51 am wow. thanks to this thread I got already like over 1.5k presets... I'm not even counting the wavetables, samples... nor the archived discord zip files yet!!
anyway.. I was wondering if those 400+ presets that comes with the "pro" version of Vital are solid? I'm thinking that one or "plus" version that comes with 250 presets.
also btw.. if anyone wants more presets... here ya go:

Note sure if you've seen my previous post, so posting here again. I've made a pack for Vital that contains some of the atmospheric/pad stuff that you might be interested in.rubez wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:15 amHi any plans for evolving pads and atmospheres on Vital? wow. thanks!xbow wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 6:04 amThere are previews of all the presets on this page:

also, that short preview clip you provided dvnation was especially useful in seeing how adjusting the macro knobs off Vital can alter the sound of a preset. I counted like a lil over a dozen presets I could see using!!

just a research,Vital isn't my fav for pads, but it has interesting functions,so may be something interesting as idea and sound may pop up.rubez wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 4:02 pm£1 per pad. I prefer other synths for warm pads for now,but i haven't spend enough time with it so may surprse me in that direction too,it's really dope synth.
Consider to buy paid version some day to support developer.
Cheers

Already got the Pro version.
Vital has a great sound. Modern but not clinical, it has actual character, especially for a wavtable synth and wavetables are the best for making pads. It 2x filters like Waldorf synths and comb filter which is highly underrated for pad. Comb filters have to be tuned just right but the results can be spectacular.
Vital has plenty of modulation too which is.... vital for pads. I don't think anyone has unlocked its true potential just yet in terms of craziness.
I am usually hardware synths only, but Vital is the best soft synth that I would happily use instead of hardware.

What do you mean? A table with the basic JP-8000 waveforms? I think it would be easy to find those waveforms recorded somewhere. I could create a wavetable (or several) out of them easily. But what exactly makes them worth the effort?

I am looking for the saw waveform that is used for the supersaw. There is a Vital tutorial on youtube which a guy does a pretty cool supersaw but he uses a saw wavefom from a Jp 8000.. I cant find a free jp8000 wavetable with the saw... or even a single cycle saw of the jp8000 saw waveform
