I spent 5 minutes choosing sounds. I have unison sinewave, a raw flute sample, a choir sample, and unison sawtooth for the bass.

So I'd say with full confidence, don't obsess on what type of software you need to use. You don't need Omnisphere, or Kontakt, or whichever uber synth/sampler people will be recommending. Be creative, don't look at presets. Try simple combination of sounds with nice effects. This is the easiest way to get such sounds. Then as you feel confident, start making deeper sounds by utilising synthesis, perhaps to get deeper, more intricate textures that effects alone may not be able to provide. By doing it yourself you will get a sense of greater joy. There, my contribution to the New Age meditative proceedings.
