Importing XM and other tracker files in DAW like a Midi File?

i wonder if this is possible and see the channels + notes?

There are/were tools to convert tracker formats to MIDI. GIYF.

Try https://openmpt.org. It exports to midi.

Yes, OpenMPT is a great tracker. One of the best, if not the best, ones that also supports VST's.
