Does anyone know of a free multiband sidechainer plugin, akin to something like Wavesfactory Trackspacer, I'm not willing to jump the gun and buy it in case there's a free alternative. Thanks!
edit: meant trackspacer sorry

If you have Waves plugins there is always StudioRack and you can attempt to build your own "Sceptre"

Buy it, there’s nothing like it for free.

I expect Trackspacer will be about £25 come Black Friday, as opposed to £130+ for Soothe!!
Am i right? (Soothe doesn't do a 50% discount at Black Friday?)

For certain tracks, TDR Nova free) works great! 4 bands can be quite enough. But the GE version offers 6 bands.
You feed the sidechain with the vocal or solo guitar, whatever, and you have to find out the relevant frequencies to duck, which is easy when you watch the spectral display (don't forget to look at the sidechain, not the main signal).

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll wait til BF rolls around, but in the mean time, I'll use nova. Been sleeping on the plugin for way too long!
