King Crimson - Three of a perfect pair.
I never listened to the KC eighties work. i have all the albums up to “Starless and Bible Black” and loved (most of) them, then a short mid nineties intermezzo with VROOM/Thrak, then moved on to other music.
So far Three of a perfect pair doesn’t really thrill me tbh. Adrian Belew’s voice is somewhat annoying on this.
But I vividly remember the first time I heard KC, which was of of course “In the Court of the Crimson King”, maybe thirty years ago on the car radio. Blew me away, in a way that you only seem to experience when you’re still a teenager…

I couldn't get into it either,which was weird because I was KC fan and a solo Fripp fan..and a fan of Adrian Belew, but not that incarnation of KC
