I am looking for a simple "add-on" software to loop. My DJ software does not have a looping feature [yet], so I am looking for something that I can use alongside my program, any ideas/links please? Thanks.

I'm not sure what kind of add on you're looking for but if you're looking for a vst plugin, I say phutboy slim. thanks to scuzzphut...

You're VSTi ready though Mike? Just a simple looper in your host you mean? I would search Instruments here for Gunshopsoft's Xtal VSTi. Brilliant little VST you can load a .WAV OR even a .MP3 and loop it, stretch it, crossfade it etc. all in real time!

Much like a DJ Mixer in looks and features. If you're an apt DJ, you'll LOVE Xtal I bet.

This is a favorite of mine. It supports drag and drop of files, is fully automatable and, if used as an effect, can capture and loop incoming audio in realtime, as well as other granular tricks.

His other plugins rock too.

Oh yah, check out his Slifty V1.0 StepSequenced VstSampler too.

I don't think anythning mentioned here is what I am looking for guys, let me see if I can explain things further. My DJ software's output is NOT configurable and it does not support plugins, I use a laptop with just the 1 integrated soundcard.
What I am looking for is a looping software that I can use "alongside" my DJ software. Is there anything possible with my situation?

"Alongside" meaning you want another stand alone software? you might want to try "Tracktion". it's free

it does some looping there.

If you want to make loop with lots of control & options I would suggest FL Studio, it's stable & it's really easy to create sophisticated loops with it:
