Do I need more (a question about other DAWs and plugins)?

I mostly use Guitar Pro for simple composing (there might be better apps for score writing but I have been using Guitar Pro for almost 20 years by now), then do the detailed work in the DAW with piano roll and plugins. But I feel like drums is a little harder to do this way.

ChordwarePA seems insteresting, I will check that.
