I just picked up V Collection 6 (used) and have been pleasantly surprised by the DX7 V. But one hing that would make it way better would be MPE, like the SQ80 V. The modulation matrix is already there so it wouldn't be any major change to the GUI, just addition mod sources.

Please give us MPE in DX7!

Would be great for Synclavier too actually and probably others...

+1
It would be good for all…
What you can do now, use the DX7 V as editor, export the patch as sysex and load it into Dexed. Dexed supports MPE, its UI is a not on par with DX7 V, and all the additions of the Arturia version are missing though… Dexed is as close to the original as DX7 V…

hmm... it looks like the DX7 is included in v collection 8.1 - which apparently has many upgraded features - including microtuning capability... worth checking out: https://www.arturia.com/products/analog ... /update8_1

the DX7 in v collection 6 is the same as in v collection 8.1, you still get updates from the versions you have.... or perhaps you mean something else...
which is pretty nice, if you don't want to update to a new collection, or better: upgrade....
all what is collection 6, some exceptions perhaps (older versions like jup v3 perhaps), are still updated.

microtuning, i am discovering it recently, what the possibilities are, but have to experiment first, before i know what i am doing....

EDIT: and indeed +1 for MPE for all, but it seems, because CC74 is so promptly visible since some updates ago, they are working to it. don't know for sure. but there are hints....

+1 without MPE it doesn't feel right anymore for me.

Just to add to this... as regards microtuning anyway - I have had success with ODDsound's MTS-ESP suite and the DX7 - it works via pitchbend. The cool thing is the MTS-ESP "midi client" shows up as a midi insert in Cubase, so can be inserted directly onthe DX7 track, then controlled by a MIDI instrument track for the MTS ESP "Master".

sorry, my point is that even though the dx7 is not MPE enabled, ODDSOUND's suite still works via pichbend! It's a bit fickle in as much as you have to make sure the pitch bend value is the same in the DX7 patch as in the MTS ESP master (in my case 12). For those interested in microtuning of course.
