That’s actually a huge win! There’s nothing worse than not being able to use your preferred chair especially if the size is off by just a little.

That happened to me years ago with an M-Audio axiom 25. I had just moved to NYC but needed a small portable rig until I found a proper place to live. That axiom was always just slightly too wide for everything making it for table or couch use only.

This is about the only part of our flat that looks 'minimalist,' but if you saw the cable organization behind the converted IKEA Nørden kitchen table... :o
L-R: VOX AC-15C and 2 x 12: Strat; There is a Røde NTK and AKG 414 on either side of the amp; Novation 61SL MkII, RME Fireface 802, Dynaudio BM5As, Really Nice Pre/Compressor, M1 Mini, 32" lg monitor, and a beer in a tree.

It's hard to get a sense of the scale of the monitor, but a 32" monitor two feet from your face is huge. It also takes up barely any more space than my old 27" iMac.

My son bought a 32" gaming monitor but I think it's a wider aspect than yours. Nuts, I full screened a DAW and it was too much, literally looking around to see one end of the arrangement etc. I think a 23" monitor with my laptop for other plugs is my optimum, can take in everything without falling backwards off my chair.
