Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I'm such an introvert that it took me around 10 minutes to decide to say this here.

Definitely an introvert. And throw in some social anxiety too.
On the drunk thing, well. Usually when I drink I just get sleepy. Sometimes I get silly though. And one time...
OK, so it was a camping weekend with some friends in the Society for Creative Anachronism. On Saturday night I single-handedly drank 7 entire bottles of cheap Asti Spumante (and poured one into the rice I was cooking, which was a terrible idea) because someone wanted the empties to make homemade wine. I followed that up with a few beers.
I actually sang (which I never do, except in the car by myself), but not only that, I led a "heist" to grab some benches from a neighboring campsite while someone with a flute accompanied us with the Mission Impossible theme. I fell on my ass in the wet leaves and sat there laughing for about 5 minutes before I could stand up again. But when the partying was done, I realized I hadn't set up my tent earlier, so I crashed atop a picnic table. Woke up with the alcohol sweats, the world spinning and slowly tilting over, and flies buzzing around me. I'm not sure whether I did my Viking ancestors proud or embarrassed them.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I'm an introvert. I try not to let it prevent me from interacting with people but it requires a lot of work. Even with friends and family, I need to take frequent breaks. I feel bad when people take it personally. I think extroverts tend to think I must not like them but it couldn't be further from the truth. I wish being personable came more naturally to me. Luckily I'm married to someone who is more extroverted and she kinda runs interference for me, when she knows I'm overwhelmed.
Working in customer service for a long time made it a bit easier. No time for anxiety when talking to customers all day. Also I can kinda get lost in a conversation that interest me.
I can't drink but I used to run sound at a local bar where all of our friends would hang out. Being able to hide out in the sound booth helped a lot because I could take a break every hour or so. Smoking weed definitely does not help me in this regard.
I don't like saying that I put up a facade but there is probably an element of truth in that.

Oops that might have been me. It's friday night so I may or may not have drank a little scotch.. so I may or may not have clicked the always enticing "vurt" option (there was no pure fish option so I had to go with the next best thing, right?).
Definitely extrovert here. You can't get me to shut up. It's probably my biggest character flaw but I'm always trying to learn and tone it down.

ok with a couple of friends, but bigger groups i tend to try and hide a bit, stick with the same couple of people.
strangers freak me right out, even stood at the bus stop, some one asks the time or something simple, i start spouting weird facts
never asked a girl out in my life
practice my lines when im nipping the corner shop, so that i dont end up buying anything i can see because i panic
which is kind of how i am here, i get nervy, and post without thinking at times, hence the weird tangents, its not something i do consciously

I'm one of those bit of both. I like to spend time on my own reading, doing music etc, and don't feel lonely ever.
I can however be quite, err, loud when in company...
