The issue with displaying net prices and adding VAT later on is mostly US thing. Fuse Audio Labs are based in Germany, so of course you get the gross price. Ordering from any US-based stores, the VAT is added at check out all the time. You can even go to a US supermarket and all you see are net prices with sales tax added at the register (at least last time I was there). But good luck changing that, might as well get them to convert to Celcius while you're at it.

Pretty sure he's aware of that and is just complaining that PA's advertised prices don't include the VAT. And on that they do have a point. Plenty of other retailers manage it just fine.

Personally what I find more annoying is when a developer doesn't display any price at all, forcing you click the 'buy now' button to find out how much it is.
That's exactly what it is, but that has gone over the head of most people here.

Lol.

“This post is so boomer it crashed the economy and blamed me for it”

How can you name the leap from “why is pa displaying price without VAT” to “taxation is theft”?

Oh wait. Yeehaw

The site knows which country it is the moment you land on it.
The mailing system knows your country.

They could display the price with VAT but it wouldn’t look as tempting so they trick you.
You’re more likely to absorb vat at checkout then buy 35.84 vs 29.99.

Its not a mistake, its a deliberate tactic on their part.

How stupid you gotta be to think that in the first place.
