Aye, neither me, looks like you have to do a full install again to use it if you didn't choose to install it first time round (though I am probably wrong...)

Liking the new stuff though; the timestretch is good for about 5-10 bpm with little discernible loss of quality, which is a godsend for me, and the automation clips thingy looks to have oodles of possibilities. Just wish they'd drop this ASIO malarky for recording and do it through MME like every other app can; the delay through ASIO pisses me off no end even at 10ms, for singing especially :x Still, got to have some use for cubase 5.1.. :hihi:

Its the only app I use because it gives me what I need. No hassles, no complicated GUI or problems of any kind.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Bought FL around 3.56 or so... tried to migrate to it from Orion. Both programs don't quite capture the way I work, but I upgraded to FL Producer anyway and stopped upgrading Orion all together.

I love the detailed features in FL (especially it's lovely piano roll which I think is hands down the best), but the interface just drives me f'n nuts... and I hate the way the patterns work... but I always go thru a cycle where I feel like one day I'll just "get it and fall in love" and start using it, but that just hasn't happend yet...

Wanted FL for ages but only bought it once asio drivers were supported. Hardly touched my other sequencers since :D
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

FL Express was the first FLS-related software that I ever own. It was part of the Cakewalk Home Studio package.

I would later move up to FL 3.5 and never look back. In fact, by the timing of the release of FLS 4, I just discontinue using Home Studio all together and just use FLS for all of my sequencing needs & use Audition 1.5 for recording vocals when needed.

And now that I have Live 4, FLS 5 will be even more useful for some serious remixing fun!!! :D

Yeah, I own it. An edition came with my Audigy sound card, but I took one look at it, and gave up. :o

Then I bought Acid Pro 4, then Live and came back for a second look at FL - suddenly realised it made sense, loved the large number of samples with it, then I bought the Producer edition. Just upgraded to V5.0 and like the new automation clips.

Owned it since before it had a piano roll.

Don't have it installed anymore but it doesn't mean I wouldn't reinstall it later and use it for something.

I liked the graphics. :D

I own it (bought it around 2 years ago in its previous incarnation as Fruityloops) but I don't really use it that much. I am still trying to learn my main host apps and other programs (Sonar 4, Audition 1.5, the myriad of Kontakt/Kompakt/Intakt sound modules, ST 2...). I hope to get around to FL someday but it could be awhile, but it has not stopped me from getting all the updates for it. :?
