UA, I love TRIAD and I'd be very pleased to see an update. IRs within Triad would be amazing, I can already think of really fun things to do with that. I love your granular processors and would appreciate even more of those, always find some cool way to use them. Maybe some stuff inspired by or derived from SILO?

I also would love for TRIAD to get the ability that LION has to use MIDI input directly for some control functions, like key tracking, though I am not sure what technical hurdles lie in VST vs. VSTi implementation for that purpose.

The resonator is awesome and I would appreciate more tunable resonator functions like that, maybe one that has not just tunable resonance but a tunable prominent harmonic per resonance (inner / outer rings to adjust? spitballing, but in my head it combines aspects of the Chebyshev distortion with the resonator) also?

Now, a crazy request: side chain audio input that can be used as an FM / AM / RM source within TRIAD. Also for LION.

Direct sidechain FM/AM and especially convolution would be really slick. We're actually considering doing something fun with real-time convolution ala SoundHack so maybe that'll be a prelude to this project. Thanks for the notes. They've been noted. I'm actually surprised that the midi control items are so commonly desired but we'll keep that in mind. Off the top of my head there's nothing directly preventing us from adding a bunch of that in- honestly it's usually just annoying from a user's perspective since they have to route it all within the DAW. We're about to release another effect plugin that has some limited midi control and we did that all the way back with G8 for manual gating.

The Midi functions actually were the main reason I bought Silo for.
I think more effects - especially if they have something to do with pitch - should be "playable" in interesting ways. That is totally underexplored IMO. And if this is used more, DAWs may become better at this some day...
And there are DAWs like Bitwig already where Midi routing isn't a real issue...

just thought about something, but, well...maybe a little absurd:

copy/paste/share/load/save between all 3 of them (lion/byome/triad)

for example:
i habe a nice echo/delay-modulation-fx in byome and would like to
use that in the mid-section of triad (on another track...)

or i would like to use that in a LION patch

but i'm not sure how to do this...?
especially the selection
would probably be with rubberband/drag&drop and cmd-click selection
esp for modulation-fx combinations

i'd like to have some sort of find possibility for presets

today i was looking for a phaser fx in triad
none to easily find (per name) in the preset listing
no "find" command or option in the preset browser (uhm...there is no browser...)
so i want to go to the mac osx finder and use the "find" command there to find a "phaser" preset
but: where oh where are byome/triad... presets are stored ?
and i will never remember the location because every plugin manufacturer has a different place
i.e.: confusing and not possible to remember

I'm demoing TRIAD and LION right now. Absolutely in love with what these plugins can do, though I'm really surprised LION has oversampling but TRIAD doesn't. Unfiltered Audio tends to be great on the audio quality front, so I'm really surprised there's a good amount of aliasing on some of the non-linear FX (like distortion).

After using it for a bit I have a laundry list of things I'd love to see:

- MIDI as a modulation source. For the moment MIDI pitch & CC is the only way to pipe around automation & modulation in a way that works between plugins and apps. It would also be a way to "play" the plugin live with for e.g. a Maschine mk3 in MIDI mode
- A way to make more refined inputs into the step sequencer. It's really difficult to set precise values as it is.
- And I'd LOOOOOVE it if there was a way to modulate the value of individual steps!

So far I'm quite impressed!

Just had a brainwave... now that VCV is about to go VST, I'd pay good money to have some of UA's more unique effects available as VCV modules. Some of the weirder BYOME/TRIAD modules, the mixer from LION and individual elements of stuff like LO-FI-AF and Bass-mint would be super fun in a modular context.

For TRIAD, BYOME, Lion — Deep Reverb, please make Flush a modulation target.

Would like a Flush on the other reverbs as well as delays.
