Hard to understand why there would be so many DSP filter differences. Even if source code was lost, didn't they A/B with hardware JD-800 during development?

There is one very specific (and easily observable) difference between the hw & sw JD-800 filter. This has been already debated here several times, but here goes one more time: The max cutoff and resonance peak goes to about 12 kHz in hardware, but stops at around 11 kHz in software. No matter what you do and how much you tweak it, it doesn't go past 11 kHz in the plugin (try it - I did, couldn't exceed the limit). This can't be due to any external processing or the audio passing through analog stages in hardware etc. It means that the filter is actually different between hardware and software, for whatever reason.
I'm not saying this is a showstopper, or makes the sw filter bad or unusable (the plugin still sounds great!), but it does clearly prove that it's not the exact same filter and code used in both.

Here's an example of five presets I made for the JD-800. I have 12 of them so far:

Love it when people from companies just drop a marketing post and ignore the rest.Brian.McClelland wrote: Sat Nov 06, 2021 12:13 am Hey, friends! Brian from Roland Cloud here. It's not his fault. He simply doesn't have any (satisfactory) answer for those.Caine123 wrote: Sat Nov 06, 2021 9:09 amLove it when people from companies just drop a marketing post and ignore the rest.Brian.McClelland wrote: Sat Nov 06, 2021 12:13 am Hey, friends! I have Roland SRX Orchestra, Ableton Live with Windows 7 and a midi-keyboard Studiologic VMK-88 Plus with the function to send bank/program change messages.
Does someone know how it is possible to select sounds in Roland SRX using midi-keyboard? Thank you in advance.

A Lifetime Key is typically $149. The Pro membership is $99. So, Roland is actually selling a Lifetime Key for $99. Is my understanding correct?Brian.McClelland wrote: Sat Nov 06, 2021 12:13 am Hey, friends! Brian from Roland Cloud here.
