After a quick test, seems there might still be some rough edges.

Effect window is freely resizable, but at least in my monitor some text displays are a bit small. Window also flashes while resizing, although resizing glitches are certainly not unique to just this FX.

Some menus like filter type sub-menus are not always fully visible if the FX window and adjusted point are low on the screen. Instead of opening down, I'd prefer those menus to open up in those cases.

When dragging a point outside the currently visible range, the given point cannot be accessed later on without first changing the display range. Automatic range adjustment when going outside the current range would be nice.

All the vintage EQ types are a nice addition, but I didn't yet see them fit my way of working. If I want for example both the classic Pultec low boost and attenuation, I want all three related knobs in the same GUI, not as two separate band displays. Continuously adjustable frequencies instead of original fixed ones didn't make it a better experience either. I'd rather just grab the points and adjust them separately, or use FX which has all these controls visible and available at the same time. YMMV of course.

It will be interesting to see how this EQ is received. It has lots of features from current EQ favorites and some of them more advanced too.

This looks awesome!
Orion Platinum, Muzys 2

This is really a damn fine EQ! Clean in the best possible way, the original source is retained beautifully. Great job!!

only rosetta2, no m1 native. won't bother

looks cool tho.

* No non-linear behaviors were modeled. All vintage filter types only contain ideal linear parts of their physical model.

You do realize that in practice this means that there's no "saturation" from a specific hardware model and that's it? At least they made it clear.

In a nutshell this is exactly the same way DMG or others are doing it. No difference.

They are modeling curves but not saturation and other stages from hardware path. And that's fine because we have plenty of saturation tools already.

No one is offering something like that in a convincing manner not even UAD. They all have specific product model not all models into one plugin. If you need something like fully modeled circuit then you buy specific item emulation (such as UAD or IK Neve 1073).

Imagine undertaking and task size for making top quality circuit models of all legendary gear including their nonlinear behaviors - in one single plugin. And then magically make all that working fine. For 120-150 EUR. No it won't happen.

Btw I tried demo and I am going to recommend it based on my opinion of course. I was actually surprised in how good this product sounded. I didn't expected it. I was thinking nah another EQ from some unknown dude, this can't be that good.

But for some reason everything they did, they did correctly. This product is actually quite good. Good at least for anyone to try it out.

It is on pair with DMG and Fabfilter just a bit different workflow and I really like it.

Tip: open configuration panel and customize it how you like it. You can define bell types based on where you click in frequency area. So you can define that if you doubleclick in subbass region it can automatically create hipass etc. There's also cool feature where you can actually drag on analyzer and plugin will create bell exactly on where you want to correct. I know it sounds similar to double clicking but it's not. Hard to explain (for me) until you try it out.

When posting I was already thinking how some of you will post examples like that. And yes I own it and I own UAD 1073 (Ultimate 9 user). Saying this just for example so that I can say straight out that UAD plugin especially when driving sounds much much better then all MTurbo combined. It's not subtle difference trust me. In fact try to run Native IK 1073 or Arturia and compare drive to MTurbo and tell me is it the same?

Sure anyone can develop a plugin and say "we modeled 150 different circuits" and then charge whatever the hell they can. But quality and authenticity is questionable to say at least.

If you want to knock yourself out by forcing yourself to believe that the product you linked is authentic then go for it.

There is a reason why specific companies choose to model specific hardware and they are good at it.

You don't need to believe me just try it.

No, i don't need to. I demoed MTurboEQ when it was 5$ and didn't get it.

I don't get off on analog models, in fact i find them pretty boring and redundant most of the time. Especially EQs.
I was interested in this EQ for other reasons (continuous slopes and some filter shapes)
