Please post examples where you think the remix, remake or cover of a song is way better, superior in every shape and form, to the original.

Moby is often pretty cheesey, but I think this is one of his best. First time I heard it, it took me a wee while to notice it was Roxy Music. A very good cover that takes it in a completely different direction. Maybe not better in every single way, as nobody can warble like Ferry unless you've got your lower testicle trapped in a zip, but I think this one has more feeling.

I quite like that Sundays version. Mind you, it's not difficult to sound better than Jagger. He's a bit like Dylan in that he writes some great songs but should get other people to sing them because he's so crap himself.

The Bauhaus one - nah, too much like the original. Bowie in leather instead of velveteen.

I like the original versions of both songs, but very partial to the covers, mostly because they were featured tracks on the soundtrack to my late teens/early 20s
