He's 78 now. :P Here's a interview from earlier this year, he almost breaks to tears:

Unfortunately, this is an old post, and some of these great songs from YouTube are not working...

For me, the best reggae song of all times will always be 'Exodus', by Bob Marley.

Here is a great live version:

redemption song by bob marley if by global consensus
rivers of babylon by the melodians and pass the dutchie ime as cultural experiences
and maybe overpopularised by GTA, nobody move nobody get hurt by yellowman for sheer vibe
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

The only reggae I know is by Bob Marley, so I'll go with Exodus. Or Redemption Song. Or No Woman, No Cry.

One Love by Bob Marley has always been a favourite of mine but in their early days, before they became just a pop band, UB40 did some great stuff and I really liked this song about the framing for murder of Gary Tyler in Louisiana - a state well known for its racism. UK residents who were young adults in the eighties will know the significance of the band name UB40 and the album name "Signing Off." The image is of the old UB40 signing-on cards that we used to claim unemployment benefits. The song is called "Tyler"
