Steinberg were really quick and helpful, but it couldn't be activated as Cubase Pro 11. Cubase 5 was the last version not eligible for the grace period.

Cubase 5 is 12 years old. Not even sure if they had eLicenser back then.

The last version of Cubase 5, 5.5.3, is ten years old.
they used the USB key in 2003 when I bought SX1.

There is an eLicenser in the Cubase 5 box. And like I said, they were really helpful - no hard feelings!
