No fans of the Trojan box sets that would introduce all those po white folks, that only know Bob Marley, to some great songs & dubs ?

i remember one that was all "dancehall instrumentals" for mcs to toast over.
there was some great looping riddims on that! some really "aggressive" stuff, or rather abrasive i guess as they still had that reggae chill vibe but were a bit more in your face!

so, you kids do need some education in reggae, even the dark skinned folks.

first: reggae is the pop version. there is very good reggae, but even if you are a fan of Marley, you need to know

second: there is a difference between reggae, dub, and dancehall. tubby was dub, lee perry was dance hall. if you are into tubby, you should know his protege' The Scientist. scientists encounters pacman is a damn dub album.. go find it.

third: six pages of reggae and no mention of the dancehall king

altho: Horace Andy gives him a definite run.

A lot of us are probably older, and have listened more widely and composed in many more styles, than you. No need for the madsplaining son.

stop promoting mip mapping and presets and I'll believe you. I've been here a long time. not as long as some, but also protesting longer then some. I don't have long. Stop trashing. start rocking.
