ive had several muffs stolen in the past.
which always weirded me out, as there were often far more expensive pedals sat next to them!
robbed by idiots :x

Just got mine today. I suddenly realized I could get physical products for a good price instead of always looking for software solutions. I also added a TC Electronic Thunderstorm Flanger, TC Electronic Echobrain, TC Electronic Drip and a Decksaver for my Yamaha ReFace DX. All for just over 200 EUR (€212.90), right to my door step.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

and i would still argue, with fuzz most especially, software isnt quite there yet.
it has the distorted side down, but not the unpredictability, battery drain or the breakup as the note fades.
not everyone wants that obviously, the "fuzz" is the main thing, but for me, those bits count 8)

wont comment on the others as ive never used them, other than to say, nice score :tu:
have fun and let us know your thoughts on them all some time :)

Hardware fuzz is f**king amazing. You can get passable results with software, but for me it’s been a different experience playing through fuzz fx.

That’s the word around town.

I picked up an Ekektron Analog Heat 1 when they were blowing them out and a used Game Changer Plasma Pedal recently. think you are right getting that kind of authentic distortion breakup seems to hard to achieve in software. It may not matter in a mix all that much but I am enjoying the hardware boxes. Perhaps it is just confirmation bias justifying the purchase.

I think I'm gonna go for this JPTRfx fuzz pedal, the Silvermachine...
I like this guys videos, he's a good guitarist imo...

Maybe one or two from Fairfield Circuitry as well. I prefer the more exotic stuff I guess.

Ahh, well no doubt. Some of those guys, you have to wonder if they can even play the guitar.
Andy Martin most certainly can :tu:

Your specialist Only Fans payments are of no interest to me.

tbh he’s so good at making the stuff look good I almost considered buying a sitar guitar even though it’d be about £600 for something I’d probably only use for two or three songs.

I like the Knobs videos because of his style and sense of humor, not really the music.
He's really good at videography, the sounds mostly sound the same-ish to me.

Some more pedals I found on modular grid that I'm liking a lot and "probably" going to get.
Horrothia https://www.horrothia.com/ The chorus in particular is on my list.
Though the rest are as well.

yeah i get what you mean
although there's few gear vid folk where the music is something id put on to listen to.

exceptions being those that do music separately, demo music often is just simple riffs i guess?

And none of them seem to do the impedence/volume-control thing. Obviously it's impossible to see the impedence of a guitar pickup from a series of voltage values, but it should be possible to simulate the effect on the plugin side with an extra control.
