That would depend on what is on sale.

I'm looking at getting some of the Boom library's vsts if they are on sale. I'm not sure if they do BF stuff with their vsts, however - they do with their sound libraries but I don't want them.

Renew my Groove3 membership for sure, but there's nothing else in particular on my mind this year. Just waiting to see what no-brainer deals pop up.

Yep, that's the plan here as well. There probably will be no-brainers though.

Yep, that's the plan here as well. There probably will be no-brainers though.

actually quite a lot, after several years of pretty much (next to) nothingness:

hardware:
1. new sound card to go along with my new laptop as my current one, which was originally only meant as an interim solution anyway does not go above 44.1kHz and i want at least the option to try higher.
2. new headphones as my old ones are >15 years old now and maybe a new pair might be a good idea

software:
1. “upgrade“ from TDR Nova (free) to GE
2. “upgrade“ from free HY-SEQ32 to paid version, despite the free one already does everything i need. So basically just to support Tadashi
3. maybe #1: apulSoft apShaper. Not decided yet though.
3. maybe #2: Acon Acoustica 7 Standard, as my new laptop does not support Sound Forge anymore and i've been really unhappy with Magix's upgrade prices and the ancient libraries SF requires on Windows anyways. Will have to demo it first though and see of it can compete with SF's admittedly awesome workflow. My current SF on my Windows laptop will of course not cease to work anytime soon though.

edit: this of course only applies, if they actually go on sale
