Where do you find vocal collabotors?

Not sure if this is a question that belongs in this forum, feel free to delete if not. I was wondering how you find vocal collaborators? I find that I can at least create tracks, even though I'm still learning a lot and have a long way to go, but I don't find them very "finished". Are people mostly buying these sample packs I see with a bunch of pre-recorded vocal wav's, or just taking vocals from existing songs where someone has stripped out the music? I'd rather not do the latter, and feel like I'd learn better trying to create something new with vocals I hadn't heard before, rather than working with sampled and spliced stuff in the beginning.

I've always found mine locally on craigslist. I found most of them years ago and have pretty much stuck with the same singers over the years, so I really don't know if craigslist is a good resource anymore and it probably varies by city/region. Instagram and youtube might be other options. On Instagram, search for hashtags, like #vocalist, #malevocalist, #femalesinger, etc.
