The page you link with the impulses have only stereo. There is for example this surround reverb here. and it contain 100 impulses. But the price is very high. A demo is here too.

http://www.waves.com/plugins/ir360-convolution-reverb

It produce reverb signals for surround.
you also need to measure and calibrate your music listening room and measure the acoustics with something like this
My surround receiver have measuring and calibration. It work good. also the includes microphone work, ok, because i know a friend with a more expensive measure microphone, and both are upto 10 khz near same. only above 10 khz. but obove 10 khz i am unable to get goos measring. move the microphone 3 cm and level change 4 db or more. so in real room can not measure. but for bass upto 10 khz is good.

I verify with
http://www.roomeqwizard.com/

only some small adjustments are need. I use

http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

It can work system wide
it is the same as if you were listening to stereo with 2 different speaker from 2 different companies.
use diffrent front speakers is much more critical, so i use no center speaker. but for back to rear speaker is not so critical, because sound from backside sound lots diffrent than from front depend from ears. and if speaker measuring and phase say it is ok, then it is good enough i think.
tell me, the surround sound music you listen to, where does it come from ?
CDs,DVD or mp3 ?
I make own music, with reaper and nvidia HDMI output(do little speaker correction with equalizerapo to my surround reciever. I get good results when i use for backside a church reverb and do a hpf at 400 hz, so very few bass reverb is hear from backside. because many reverb sound bad on kickdrums. i dont know wy. only reduce low reverb frequency help.
human ears hear differently when sound is Loud or soft It is the "Fletcher-Munson Equal Loudness Curve"
look at the curve at your link, from 70 db (i use) to 100 db there is very few diffrent. can say 200 hz is 0 and 10 khz is +5 db at 70 db, 80 db, 90 db. but this diagramm ist not very precise in resolution. so maybe can +6 db too

But important for me to hear at lower volume and like the sound is the reverb which is only in range of 400 hz upto 4 khz. It give a lot fuller sound. add reverb on front speaker have the disadvantage, that the sound seem come from far away.

Add reverb to rear speaker, does not make the sound with more reverb come from distance and intsrument can hear more clear

And this is important for fuller sound. and if EQ of rear speaker is set to linear, is big advantage without bring sound far away

Have you ever test with surround reverb ? .

Thanks thats a really good library, with audio examples and there are really surround impulses for example this.

http://www.openairlib.net/auralizationd ... -cathedral

BTW: i have no problem to pay for good impulses, if for example 1 impulse cost 10$ is ok, when it can hear in audio demo, or upload own songs. But i dont want a reverb with thousands of impulses that cost 300$ or more. and i use only 5-10 and the rest sleep on harddrive

The original poster's request is reasonable. I listen to most music on headphones through an IR file of Dolby Atmos, which provides a more spacious sound. I know that IRs for this purpose work. They should work even better for speakers. I really loved my Sennheiser GSX-1000 for surround via headphones, but I've had two of them and both died the same way. I find I prefer the IRs from Dolby Atmos and Dolby Headphone to those from the Sennheiser box.
