Our installers do not delete anything - there is simply no need to do that (each update contains more files than the previous version, not less- for example additional presets or skin files). Besides during testing, we (re-)install many times and so do beta testers. And we have plenty of soundsets installed so we would notice.

Anyway if you can get more info from the user (esp. system specs, what steps he took exactly, etc) then please post it here, pm it to us, or alternatively ask the user to get in touch with us.

I know you're trying to be helpful and I for one appreciate it but if you had said that it was your customer's report and that it didn't actually happen to you then your original post wouldn't have across as so alarmist.

No one here has anything to gain by turning a blind eye to any potential issue. I'm a heavy user of DUNE 3 so if there is any potential issue then of course I would like it to be fixed but we first have to establish that it is an actual issue.

We all want DUNE 3 to be as perfect as humanly possible so we're all on the same team.

These Dune updates really are quite something. Substantial, and full of useful additions. The preset browser is a welcome addition, and I didn't think the MSEGs could be improved, but apparently, they can be; really fluid and quick to see what's going on. Genetics feature is a fun bonus that produces some neat combinations. Thanks Synapse, you totally delivered with this one.

My presets are gone too. I only had two or three saved on this computer though. I have them backed on several places so I'm good. Just a heads up.
