I've 40% discount for V2 already, so I doubt Black Friday deal will improve on that.

I'll wait an extra week to upgrade to V2 just in case. I'd be peeved if I upgrade to V2 now only to get V3 later on, then find out that I could've saved a few extra bucks on V2 by waiting a few days.

No, I've not seen a release date.

Why not? Often on BF they offer additional 25% discount on your personal discount. But not every year (I‘m not 100% sure, I remember they dropped one year). Might be, when they have a new release, that they don‘t do this year. We‘ll see. I can wait
