The Moody Blues were my favourite band for many years ... was lucky enough to see them play at the Newcastle City Hall in the early 1980's ...

Yeah,
I played 'This Is The Moody Blues' a couple of days ago in honour. Not a huge fan of his poetry, but RIP. Another one gone. I saw them at the Montreal Forum, 1981. They were great. Missed mike Pinder, though.

I will always share this about the Moody Blues when I see them mentioned, growing when I did they were a big part of my early memories...my favorite, I was kinda young...8 or 9...to this day I still see it my mind as Knights in White Satin :oops:

Used to do a bunch of their stuff when I busked in the Metro, Nights, Tuesday Afternoon, Ride My See Saw, Story in your Eyes, Simple Game, and lots more.
