Too bad it's hungry on your machine (maybe you could contact the support, even if you are not a customer yet?)
It has always run smooth here (Intel I5, Windows 10, Fireface UC, Ableton Live) and is indeed really a great sounding reverb with some special twists (morphing between presets, play with the reverb size with MIDI...)

Very mellow & friendly on my CPU here too, zero problem.
So as suggested by GilJ maybe contacting them with your setup to tackle this, as it might be a specific config issue?

They released an update on Feb 18th...Spring Goose wrote: Tue Mar 16, 2021 1:29 pm Baby Audio Spaced Out is tempting my wallet out of my pocket, but i've heard that it's one of the hungriest.
After a lot of banging our heads against a wall and failed - but steadily-improving - experiments, the update is now finally here! It offers a 20-25% CPU improvement on average, which was as far (and a little further) as we could squeeze it without compromising the sound in any way. There's also a wet-lock now as many of you have suggested!
And Comet is still one of my go-to character verbs

Thanx, guys! My testing machine is quite old and if you both say it's not that hard on the CPU, most probably the plugin is optimized for newer CPUs. Will think if it's worth bothering the developer with this. (BTW, I use a Fireface UC myself.Neon Breath wrote: Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:26 pm Very mellow & friendly on my CPU here too, zero problem.

FYI if you decide to buy: possibly cheaper price at Best Service or JRR Shop.aMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 9:31 am Demoing now to see if worth getting if I already have Blackhole and Adaptiverb

IMO, if you have Blackhole, Adaptiverb, and maybe Supermassive, then no. Lot of overlap with those. Comet is good, but, I usually load up other reverbs instead.aMUSEd wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 9:31 am Demoing now to see if worth getting if I already have Blackhole and Adaptiverb

Yeah, I only bought it because it was on sale once for $29. Purely out of GAS but it does sound brilliant, especially when you want to actually "hear" the reverb.

It's a good reverb for sure, very well made in its kind, with a nice feature allowing to transform practically any sound into a sort of pad. Mainly a "special effects" reverb, in some ways like B2 or Blackhole (almost half-way between the two). It's worth buying if you don't have those ones, otherwise I suggest to buy it only when the price is sensibly reduced (I, too, bought it during a very cheap sale).

I'm ashamed to admit that it was the same for me.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:06 am Yeah, I only bought it because it was on sale once for $29.
Well, it does sound nice. But, dunno. I tend to go for others.
