Though I too don't think is only due to M1 compatibility, I'd welcome this news as well. I only hope this is not some trickery to lure people into buying just to drop the serial with 2.0 again... Like repeating history.

Well very interesting. Most of all - what changed piracy-wise? Manuel stated very clearly that they had to switch because piracy for their old system. Yet now they're back. Maybe Codemeter really did hurt their sales, and they figured dealing with the piracy was the least bad of the two options.

I've never understood the relationship between Avenger and reFX. Different companies yet they share so much. No idea why they didn't pool resources on the licensing - reFX Cloud was out almost the same time as Codemeter and is much better.
