Is there a way to move the default download location for Sounds.com (when using Maschine/Komplete Kontrol as a library) from Application Support>NativeInstruments>Shared>Sounds.com to somewhere more useful like an external drive?
There is nothing on their website and I've tried searching.
In the past I've used aliases but I'm not sure if that's still the done thing. There is no way in Komplete Kontrol/Machine preferences to add a location for factory content.

OK got there...a symbolic link will allow the sounds.com folder to be anywhere including external drives. However I am not sure how that will work with future downloads - which I won't be doing as the whole Sounds.com ecosphere is not for me.
