Technology in the past 20 years have eradicated 25-75 peoples jobs in order to make my songs sound good and listenable. Session players, engineers, music stores, teachers, producers, repair people, etc....
But in return has given me over 10,000 listens per annum, free and 'online'.

not only that, but whatever happened to pride in whatever you're doing? or the desire to do as good a job as possible?

what would you say if a builder came to repair your house but did a sloppy job because it's not hip to try to do it properly?
