Futurephonic have listened to the users of their MaxForLive devices and have thankfully released Rhythmizer 2.1 as a VST/AU MIDI effect. It's free for those that bought it as a M4L device. For authorization, it was a matter of typing in my email and a license key code. Super simple.
I'm not having any issues with it in Logic Pro X and I can already see it's potential for twisting and bending my sounds like it did when using the M4L in Ableton. Psytrance lovers will go totally bonkers with this. Here's a clip of what it can do:

That's pretty awesome!

I've been beta testing thing, happy to see it finally released! I'll check out your video Antic, but I don't see myself giving up on Rhythmizer altogether, it has a nice workflow!

I have Rhythmizer v1.0, as part of the Uncut Bundle I bought in July. Does that qualify me for a free upgrade? (No pressure--just wondering)
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Email support to confirm, but I think it's just for v2.0 users.Dirtgrain wrote: Fri Nov 26, 2021 7:17 pm I have Rhythmizer v1.0, as part of the Uncut Bundle I bought in July. Does that qualify me for a free upgrade? (No pressure--just wondering)

The email says that anyone who bought the M4L device is entitled to a free upgrade to the VST. They didn’t mention any exceptions based on version number, so I would assume that you would qualify. Send them an email if you haven’t received any information yet.Dirtgrain wrote: Fri Nov 26, 2021 7:17 pm I have Rhythmizer v1.0, as part of the Uncut Bundle I bought in July. I love this effect. The only thing that's missing is a wet dry knob so i can gradually bring it one, turning a pad into sequenced notes

As it´s a midi effect there is no Dry/Wet...mickrainbow wrote: Thu Jan 12, 2023 2:53 pm I love this effect. The only thing that's missing is a wet dry knob so i can gradually bring it one, turning a pad into sequenced notes
Midi notes are there or not there so at max it would double the notes... no chance of "morphing" between them...
At least not with the plugin itself...

This is really fun - thanks for the heads up.
One thing I’d really like is to have both pitch and pitch bend going at the same time, I don’t see why it’s either / or. As an experiment I tried feeding the output of 1 set to pitch into another set to pitch bend, and I did make that work, though it seemed a little flaky and the whole complexity of two pattern engines going at the same time makes it pretty complicated to bend it to your will.
