I have just installed Ample Sound Ethnic Banjo. I could not find any program in the installed folders, either plugin or library that would enable me to open the stand alone version of the instrument. I finally was able to load the instrument in my komplete kontrol software that had all my ample instruments somehow listed when I clicked on the "+" button :-) It was not to be found in the lefthand menu items.
I am new to installing plugings ... and honestly want to just use them within my logic pro DAW... but I am confused up front with how to just access the instrument. I have been playing around with learning it within the komplete kontrol software as it is connected to my keyboard ... but before I intstall several other instruments I bought from amplesound I want to make sure I installed correctly.
I put all the plugin installs on my mac harddrive ...and the sample library on an external ssd. There seems to be no problem once I have the instrument loaded in accessing the sounds ( although I haven't figured out the strum patterns yet :-) ... still going through manual and whatever youtube videos I can find) ...
BUT ... the only way I can find to load the instrument is to find it in my komplete kontrol software.
Have I done something wrong in installation ... or do I just not understand how to open the instrument??

Welcome to KVR! This is the general "Getting Started" subforum. I'm not familiar with their products, but it looks like they do have a standalone version. I'd suggest posting your question in the Ample Sound subforum:

Maybe a mod can move it for you?
