Didn’t see a thread so for for that, I’m testing it at the moment (the lite version) and it’s a mighty fine reverb with an excellent user interface. Intro price is good, too, and you can get further loyalty discounts if you own other products from reverb foundry or liquidsonics.
The bigger version has more features, but for my taste too many parameters, I’m too stupid for that
$49 for the lite and $99 for he standard version

It's really good, imo! Sounds super smooth and the interface is superb... Because of the discount codes, I picked up the lite version for a no-brainer price...

I'm going to wiat for the Kung-Fu edition, although I wouldn't mind a more specialised Chi-Gung version in the meantime....

So - why call it Tai Chi? If you've ever watched somebody skilled in the art there is a beautiful slowly evolving motion full of power and control that is absolutely captivating, and to me ensemble reverb is all about a powerful evolution of sound in an elegant and sophisticated way as it develops through motion (chorusing). Since I was also inspired by the amazing power and control of the VSS algorithms which allow reverbs to define textures in space over time in incredible ways, it was fantastic that it reflects the initialism there too. So a natural pick.

I didn't know about these! Thanks for pointing them out. Also thanks for mentioning the Liquidsonics tie-in, I wouldn't have know that either. I used my Liquidsonics coupons and bought both Tai Chi (full) and HD Cart for a price I appreciate as a non-professional! These are very interesting reverbs! Useful and a departure from the Liquidsonic "sound/vide" but with the similar UX/UI. Nice!

Woo oooooo !!! Can’t wait to try this thing !!! Rich chorus and (finally !!!!) ducking !!! That’s everything I’m looking for !!
EDIT : OK, best reverb I've tried so far. The chorus is gorgeous (better than Sonsig imho), and CPU is alright (and can be improved if you disable the reflections in the main mix).

Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

I tried the demos. These ones and HD Cart are sweet. They have a bit more life than the IR based verbs from Liquidsonics. But for me are not a replacement for the EA reverbs, not on the same level in my humble opinion.

I just picked up the Lite version after demoing. I first noticed it either on this forum or another where someone compared it to R4--well, after finally updating my computer from Sierra (I was between projects and I'm a hobbyist anyway so damn the torpedoes) R4 stopped working. It hard-crashed Logic projects where it was in use, to be precise. Thankfully Phoenixverb is still working for now, I'll be looking for a transparent verb once it dies (or this could be it, or I just start using Chromaverb, but I'm not sure I'd call that very transparent)! So this seemed to be a natural fit.
If Izotope fixes R4 (or Apple fixes whatever is breaking R4) so be it, options are great! I kind of doubt it will happen if it's up to Izotope; for the little I paid for Phoenix/R4, I wish I hadn't now. I like the interface of this a lot, it's the kind of clean gui I prefer.
I was getting set to buy 7th Heaven ironically also on sale, same price, and in the future perhaps loyalty coupons can happen. To my ear, Tai Chi was both similar if desired and more versatile than 7th Heaven.

Codes are tied to individual user accounts, they are not something that can be shared or used by anyone other than the original purchaser, I’m pretty sure.

ah cheers, that should have been my first question.
I really dig the GUI of this verb.
It looks like the standard is the one to go for. Lite is probably enough for most uses, but the ducking and multiband is gonna be handy fure sure.

So if we buy from reverb foundry do we get codes for discounts to liquidsonics? Or is it only one way?
