Coparck are a Dutch band who make nice music somewhat along the lines of Grandaddy and The Flaming Lips.
Here's what they sound like.

During the recording sessions of their last album they came across this:

Coparck's singer Zjiro:
"It's a wonderful piece of equipment. It looks like the prettiest bit of studiogear. But it's fake, it doesn't actually do anything. All it has is a switch and a light. The owner of the studio used it to get rid of label managers who were complaining about the recording."

I want one.

I met a recording engineer a few years ago who built something very similar - said it always worked wonders on stubborn clients.
