I loaded it up again after a long time not using it.
I realized again why I don't use it very often. For me, it's not real intuitive and the results I get seem arbitrary and almost frustrating.
I'd spend my money on Instacomposer unless you have it already.
Have you played with the MM3 demo version? I'd do that before buying.
Your fave MIDI fx, arp, mapper, mangler, generator, chorder, controller, utility. VST or MFX

Animation Station is basically the animator used in the latest Sample Logic libraries like Motion Keys.
If your DAW lets you send midi out from Kontakt, you can achieve essentially the same thing.
Audio Plugin Deals occasionally has deep sales on SL libraries, so you get a library plus the sequencer/animator rather than just the sequencer/animator. Plus with the latest libraries you get four cores, x/y animation, selective randomization, and more.
